You’re most welcome to our website and I hope you can find the information you’re looking for today. At CASA, we understand that the entire world is living in the most unprecedented times that we have not seen since the aftermath of world war II. We’re in this together, and we’ll get through this together.
The Canada-Uganda Association of Southern Alberta (CASA) is a fully registered Not-For-Profit Organization with operations and membership from major cities and towns of Southern Alberta. Given the historical cross-border movements and immigration in the East and Central African countries, CASA’s membership has attracted members from a wide spectrum of the African countries and this trend seems to grow by numbers every day. Some of the comments we’ve heard from these members are that we’re all one people, we share a lot in common and CASA’s services are what they need.
I feel profoundly honored and exceedingly humbled to work with a determined and spirited management team focused on acculturating immigrants and advocating for socio-economic and cultural wellbeing for all our members. Being an immigrant is a life-long-learning-journey that takes a life-long journey of socio-economic, political and cultural discoveries. I’m equally thrilled and fortunate to work with a community that has given it all especially participating in the entire Community-Based Strategic Planning Process that has witnessed so many community talents, capacities, skills, abilities identified and mapped for community planning and project forecasting. The CASA community believes in exploiting the endowed wealth from within as a basis for building sustainable projects and programs before venturing into partnerships to fill-in the missing gaps.
The CASA community believes in social and professional engagement with all our well-wishers and community members.
