Samuel Madesi Agaba is a doctoral fellow in educational research at the University of Calgary, Canada. He currently teaches Master of Education students taking program evaluation and practice, and educational research methodology. Madesi has accumulated 25 years of academic and professional experiences whilst working in various African, Asian, and North American
countries as a lecturer, facilitator, instructor, consultant, and coordinating bi-lateral and multilateral cross border advocacy and development programs. He is a believer and practitioner in the Freirean radical reconstruction of society and recipient of multiple awards, scholarships, and recognitions in research, peace education, international and community development. Madesi embodies the postmodernist definition of society’s reconstruction by dismantling social injustices, inequity, and asymmetric power inequality while building a society where all humanity can co-exit in harmony. Madesi is the present-day President of Canada-Uganda Association of Southern Alberta (CASA).

Joyce received a Bachelor of Science degree. She is currently a registered nurse at Alberta Hospital. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing for Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Mrs. Sembajwe served as the Executive Secretary of CASA now the vice president from 2018-2020. She also doubled as the Vice-Chairperson and Committee Lead for the Forum and Programs Committee of CASA. Mrs. Sembajwe has also served as the Secretary for the Uganda Association for the Greater University Makerere.
